Great example of the very first Custom Shop Stratocaster that was included in the Fender Pricelist.
This one had some alterations during its lifetime: The Lace Sensor pickups replaced by a Custom Shop Fat 50 pickup in the neck position and two Texas Special pickup at the middle and bridge. Therefore the pickguard has also been replaced.
The original Wilkinson Roller Nut was replaced by a newer model. Behind the nut a piece of dark wood was placed to fill up the gap, the original nut left.
It is in a good condition for a 30 year old guitar. Frets have some wear (see pics) and body has scratches and dings (some examples in the pics).
It comes with a non-original hard shell case and orignal Certificate of Authentication.
